Today I would like to share with you information about the state of the labor market in Switzerland and the prospects for the return of labor migrants to Ukraine. I am currently in Switzerland due to military aggression, where I am engaged in active social activities among the Ukrainian community, which is approximately 80,000, which is 1% of the entire population of the country. Together with active Ukrainians, we created the Ukrainian-Swiss foundation VIDNOVA.

Switzerland is known for its stable economy and high standard of living, which makes it attractive to many workers from all over the world, including Ukrainian migrants. In Switzerland, the relationship between workers and employees is based on social dialogue. This means that workers’ representatives, employers and the government engage in constructive dialogue on working conditions, wages and other social issues. This approach makes it possible to reach a fair and agreed solution that satisfies all parties.

The situation in Ukraine

In Ukraine, unfortunately, the social dialogue needs renewal. Communities and businesses must work together to address development issues in their area. This is important not only for creating favorable conditions for business development, but also for attracting back Ukrainian migrants.

The state program “Own business” has been operating for a year, with good results. The main goal of this government program is to create new jobs. In this way, the government simultaneously supports business development and fights unemployment. This program needs to be continued, expanded, and given more information about it.

To ensure the return of migrants, Ukraine must create conditions for business development. This means protecting property rights, promoting entrepreneurship and reducing bureaucratic barriers. In addition, we must involve migrants in decision-making and community development, allowing them to contribute and collaborate with local entrepreneurs.

Ukraine has great potential for business development and investment attraction. We have a skilled workforce, a large domestic market and a variety of natural resources. However, we need to create conditions that will attract Ukrainian labor migrants back to their native country.

Therefore, I urge everyone present to support the development of business in Ukraine, creating conditions for the return of migrants. Let our country become a place where Ukrainians can develop their talents and build their careers. Together we will be able to achieve great victories and ensure the prosperity of our country.

Dear Anatoly Kyrylovych, I want to thank you for your many years of work and for this important topic of today’s meeting, which now concerns every family and the future of Ukraine! Because human capital is the state! Therefore, I urge you to renew the social dialogue at all levels for the restoration of our Ukraine.
